Diversity and Access

Equity of access to our services, is a core principle of PPA. We are committed to ensuring that our services are accessible to all Australian families, including those who might experience structural, cultural or personal barriers to participation.

PPA has strong links with remote Aboriginal communities and communities in the Torres Strait Islands via our auspicing organisation, the Montessori Australia Foundation. The Torres Strait Islanders Regional Education Council is a key partner to our organisation. We have significant expertise in reaching families in these sometimes marginalised communities.

Our approach is parent-centred that is, based upon the needs of the individuals we serve and we use a community development approach to address the needs of parents in local communities.

We deliberately keep our prices low and offer concession rates to any parent in need who makes an application.

For a discussion about how PPA can support your health service to reach vulnerable or marginalised parenting communities, please email us or call us on (02) 9984 0000.
